INTERNAL COMMUNICATION AND SUPPORT
Most of the internal communication about academic & student life between professors, staff and students is done through the APPUI intranet. You can enter to it from any computer connected to internet using your login and password, that will be sent to you by e-mail. This system enables you to download class notes, upload assignments or communicate with other students, professors and school staff.
USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES AND SUPPORT MATERIAL
The Reception is in charge of allowing students to use classrooms and other rooms, and to borrow support material such as office supplies under request and upon availability. You will be asked to give your Student Card but it will be returned when you finish using the facilities/material you borrowed. The loan of other support materials, such as laptops, is subject to special conditions. For further information about this service, please contact the Reception desk.
PHOTOCOPYING AND PRINTING
PHOTOCOPYING: You can do your own photocopies at the self-use photocopiers located in the cafeterias of ESEC Trafalgar and Bailén using a pre-paid card. You can get this card at the reception by submitting a deposit of 5 € (not usable as credit to photocopy), which will be given back to you when you return the card (please, give the reception an advanced notice so they can have ready your money when you return the card). Then you can top up your card at the machines located next to the photocopiers. Please be careful with the amount you top up, as the credit you do not use will not be given back to you. In case of need, you can also ask for photocopies at the reception desk at a higher price than doing them yourself (please see below a list with all prices).
PRINTING: You are entitled to do up to 60 free black & white prints each month (not transferrable from month to month; that is, if you do not finish all your 60 free prints one month, you can not save the credit left for the next month, you just lose it). If you finish your credit and still need to print, you can buy a paper card with a code to increase your credit. This card costs 2€ and allow you to print 20 more pages (to use in the same month you activate it, you can not save credit for the next month), so this way each printed page would cost 0.10€. You can also print asking at the reception, at a price of 0.20€ each page. Colour printing can be done only at the reception, at 0.50€ each page.
