Management control, Accounting, Auditing
Economic globalization, new regulations, international accountancy
rules, information management tools development; the "Management
control, Accounting, Auditing" department prepares the students to face
these challenges.
A team made of teachers-researchers that enrich the teaching thanks
to their researches, of member teachers, of companies and audit offices train students for the interpretation of accountancy data and
the use of new tools for firm's management.
Economics-Finance and Law
The "Economy and Finance" department develops a training that is based on the international standards of the discipline.
The teaching developped in Economy allows the students to get to know
better the big economic models so they can know better the company's world
and its environment.
The Finance courses cover all this discipline's fields: the
financial markets, the corporative finances and the financial
management. The students can study this discipline in depth thanks to
the "Finance" Principal Academic Option and thanks to the "Banking and
Corporate Finance" and "Banks and Financial Markets"Professional Options
on the Toulouse campus. The teaching is based on a high quality
teaching staff that develops an internationally known research within
the Research Group in Finance of the school.
This department also covers the company's stucture, its activities,
the human relations that exist within it as they are organized by right
laws that condition the decision making.
The aim of the training
is to allow the students to learn more about his dimension of the
business life and acquire the different legal techniques they will have
to use within the firm.
Industrial organization, logistics and Technology
The main goals of the logistices and organization department are:
- Show what are the requisites of a production activity, indusctrial or of services.
- The relations between the production function and the rest of cunctions of the company (Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources...)
- The concepts and methods that are used in production in order to
improve the logistics results of the companies according to some quality,
prices, terms and service criteria.
Human Resource Management
- The tools for analysis and diagnosis of the human and companies functioning
system, of the work organization and of the productive
activities.
- The practical and methodological "know-how" in order to assure the
function of team or project manager, or to be able to asume the other
specialized jobs within the human resources.
- A self-knowledge and a good consciousness of one's personal
potential, in order to adapt better and evolve professionally speaking.
Information Management
Bring the students a general knowledge and a mastery of the methods
and tools to take part actively in that society that is dominated by
the information technologies.
This is carried out thanks to a
pedagogic approach aimed to develop a total autonomy of the starting up and the
exploitation of the student's aptitudes whatever the situation or the
theme is.
Marketing
2 complementary goals:
- Training for the decision making in strategical and operational marketing.
- Training for the different jobs of marketing and sales in all
the activity's sectors (BtoC, BtoC, Services) and in all kinds of
organizations. Motivate the choice of marketing's "alternative"
practices (fair trade, supportive marketing, cultural marketing, etc.).
The Marketing department proposes different Professional Options linked to the sectors or functions: Marketing Business to consumer, Marketing Business to Business, Management and service marketing, Cultural companies' management, Real estate business, Trade marketing, Specialized business networks management.
The department's pedagogy is based on a teaching staff that develops an applied academic research within the two laboratories: IMEC and CIM.
Strategy
The training deals with the main strategic decisions, the tools
and methods for helping the decision making and the conditions of
starting up the chosen options. The theories are illustrated by many
recent studies.
